today, we learnt about the Tropical Monsoon forest. Tropical Monsoon forest consists of a thicker undergrowth as compared to the rain forest as the trees are less dense as compared to the rainforest. The reason being the irregular rainfall the forest has. Monsoons are caused by large amount of moist air moving from the ocean to land, this causes excessive amount of water in the air and hence cause heavy downpours.

He taught us about the layers found in the different types of forest, emergent layer, canopy layer, rainforest etc etc etc..... Natural vegetaion can be divided into 3 major catorgories ; grassland, forest, desert. Which can be further be divied into tropical grassland, temperate grassland, hot desserts and cold desserts.
